Brad Christensen

As a managing partner of Pathfinder Mortgage Corporation, Brad Christensen brings his clients 35 years of proven experience in structuring commercial real estate financing for specific income property types, with a specialty in acquiring very low, fixed rate interest rate loans. In addition to his expertise in originating loans, Brad serves as a managing partner of Pathfinder’s operations and its Orange County branch.

Brad’s clients are commercial real estate owners/landlords who seek his expertise in tenaciously negotiating the best terms, the lowest fixed rates, and the smoothest process for their deals. Whether they are seeking to refinance an existing loan, acquiring equity for capital improvements and renovations, or need a down payment for a new acquisition, Brad has proven experience in the capital markets and longstanding relationships with insurance companies and other capital sources that are key to transacting loans that are, otherwise, unobtainable.

Brad’s high-level service comes from over three decades of experience in commercial financing. After graduating from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business, Brad joined Pathfinder Mortgage as a real estate analyst and completed the curriculum of the Appraisal Institute. When other top producers left during the recession in the early ‘90s, Brad stayed on and began transacting deals to help rebuild the company. In the mid ‘90s while continuing as a top loan originator he became a partner/share holder. In 2003, he increased his stake becoming one of Pathfinder’s main stockholders.

With Brad’s expertise and in-depth knowledge of the capital markets and all of its players, he is the best advocate for his clients, working hard for them to provide the capital they need to expand and run their commercial real estate investments.

Brad serves as a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association of America. He is a trusted advisor and member of ProVisors South Coast Metro group, and was formerly on the board of Beta Housing Corporation, an organization that provides low - cost housing to students pursuing an education at USC and Syracuse University in New York.
