Nathan Cohen

Nathan Cohen is a Senior Vice President with Pathfinder Mortgage Corporation where he offers clients extensive experience in bridge, construction/construction completion and traditional commercial real estate loans for opportunistic and value-add projects.

Prior to joining Pathfinder Mortgage, Nathan worked for a boutique lending group originating loans for adaptive reuse projects, on transactions with a very large renovation budget (compared to their current values). He also originated conventional financing of stabilized properties. Additionally, he has a track record for securing correspondent relationships and partnerships with institutional investors for the purpose of funding private loans.

Nathan started his career as a commercial real estate agent at a Coldwell Banker Commercial franchise in the Midwest where he specialized in off-market land acquisitions and dispositions for industrial, office, retail, and hospitality developers. After transitioning into capital markets, he served as an intermediary for a developer in Los Angeles sourcing debt and equity for multifamily developments and adaptive reuse projects. While there, he acquired expertise in many aspects of construction finance, from execution, budgeting, municipal permitting/approval, construction draw management and analysis, to indemnifications and partial releases. He has sourced both parts of the capital stack and worked with all parties on development projects and guided his clients every step of the way.
