Gingrich has spent his entire business career in the real estate industry having served in executive positions with major financial institutions active in the financing and development of commercial real estate. These institutions included The Farmers Insurance Group of Companies where he was Vice President Real Estate Investments for their companies which included Farmers New World Life Insurance Company, Ohio State Life Insurance, and the Farmers Pension Plan. 

He was Vice President and District Manager for IDS Mortgage Corporation with responsibilities for mortgage origination and servicing for Southern California, Arizona, and Nevada. He also served as an Assistant Vice President and of City Loans for Kansas City Life Insurance Company.
